Tian Kee & Co. | 12 Dakota Crescent #01-48

A fifty-four years old provision shop converted to a cafe. Along with the rest of the district, the place gives off nostalgia and retro vibes. Rather small, with indoors and outdoors seating, which won't make any difference since there's not a single air conditioner in the shop. After all the walking (even though it's just short walk), all you wanted was to cool down, however you realise it's an open concept cafe. Furthermore, their items were not cheap. I thought they would have saved enough electrical bills to offer a cheaper price. We skipped the desserts and ordered two drinks, Milky Salted Caramel ($6) and Peppermint Iced Nutella ($7). Both tasted pretty ordinary, something we could concoct at home just by adding syrup into milk. The washroom was probably the one of the thing I love about the place. It was nicely decorated with wooden platforms and pebbles, clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly as well, however, I don't advise heading all the way specifically for their food. Though I suggest making use of the area, a good location to take tons of photos.
