Colourpop is known for delivering good quality makeup at affordable prices. Whether you're looking for pigmented eye shadows or lips products, the collections come in a huge selection of colours. While it's still on its way to producing only vegan products, you can rest assure that majority–if not all–of its products are cruelty-free!

I was no stranger to this brand. When I first got hold of some of its lipsticks from the Ultra Matte and Ultra Satin line, I was unimpressed. However, I decided to try it out again during Colourpop's birthday sale last month. As part of its third birthday celebration, the brand came up with attractive promotional deals–think free international shipping, discounts and free lippies. I got a bunch of items, some of which were highly recommended by popular YouTuber Kathleen Lights. Wanted to get Jenn Im's Jenn Ne Sais Quoi collection too but it was sold out within half an hour!

First up, I have the Super Shock Highlighter and Blush in Smoke N Whistle and Get Leid. The highlighter was mostly raved by light skin tone users while the blush was a pinkish-coral shade I'm looking for. Honestly, I don't like the formula for both products. They are too powdery, making it difficult to be picked up with a fan brush. On the other hand, the Super Shock Shadows were amazing! Each colour was heavily pigmented, especially the shimmering ones. I'm in love with I Heart This and Weenie. Do you think my choice of colours were so similar to latest Urban Decay's Naked Heat Palette? If only the latter was released earlier, I would have bought it instead of the Colourpop's ones. Moving on, the last component is liquid lipsticks–my weak spot. I received eight in total, two of which are complimentary mini lipsticks. While I'm still not blown away by its lipsticks due to the drying texture on the lips, I do agree that the pigment and colour choices are great. I love MLBB style, so the shades I've got where mostly pinkish-nudes.

What's your favourite shade or products from Colourpop?
