Cake box mix has got to be one of the greatest inventions the food industry created. It's such a convenient way to bake a cake without all the hassle. Coincidently, I had a bottle of Rebel Kitchen's chai milk on hand and given that I can't stomach that drink as it was, I decided to use it to make a cake. The chai infused cake turned out great and was enough to make two batches of it. Unlike sponge cake, which is fluffy and light, these cakes were dense and moist. The crumble on top provided a good crunch and further enhanced the whole cake tasting experience. The best part of all? It's vegan-friendly! You can have your cake and eat it too!
